Founded in 2019 by Skylar Campbell, Principal Dancer of The National Ballet of Canada, SCDC is a new collective that brings together dancers from all ranks of various companies to perform a curated selection of repertoire, invigorating new audiences by putting a spotlight on this ever-evolving and moving art form. Setting out to revive innovative classical and contemporary works, following its dictum “igniting beauty and imagination", the collective provides an exciting new platform for dancers to perform, giving patrons a rare and new opportunity to experience world-class dance performances in a uniquely intimate setting.
